My Experience with Eyelash Extensions

Hi loves,

Today I want to talk about my experience with eyelash extensions since so many people have asked me about mine!

I first got eyelash extensions about 7 months ago when I wanted to look bomb for my college graduation, and I soon became obsessed. They looked so lush, did not bother me at all, and saved me so much time in my morning makeup routine, because let’s be honest no one likes spending time putting on mascara in the morning and if you do you’re weird.

Soon this became such a bad habit. THEY ARE PRICEY. I went to a place where if you were a member you got a monthly deal on fills but still it was about $45 plus tip. Trust me it adds up.

I started to only get fills when I had an event which worked for me for awhile UNTIL my eyes decided to start reacting to the lashes.

I woke up one morning after getting a full set and my eyes were BURNING LIKE A MOFO. It hurt to blink and my eyes were SO bloodshot.

I reached out to my lash lady and she said it could be the glue..which I was skeptic of, BUT we soon found out that it was my contacts did not like the fumes of the glue. Simple adjustment, don’t wear contacts.

But I guess after awhile I just stopped getting the lashes. I started to have bad habits of rubbing my eyes, picking at them and just not taking care of them like you should.

SO with that being said, If you want to get eyelash extensions I say absolutely try it but do know there are some “rules,” you should follow which I will list below!!
